I prominently use IBD's in my work and I was wondering if there was a way to use this technique to find the Blocks that do not have a part on any diagram? I can find all the blocks not on a diagram or all parts not on a diagram. I'm trying to see if there are any blocks (parts) not used in any IBD. Thoughts?

If you have 2 terms (the plural version and singular version) is there a way to represent that as 1 term or somehow link the two terms to the same description? or do you have to manage them as two separate terms? Trying to do this so if one description changes, both dont have to be managed.

What is the purpose of the creating an use case diagram in an use case? Or is it okay to do that? Magic cyber allows me to do that but what is the meaning of behind it? Lastly, what is the difference btw a inner use case and <<include>> arrow?

How do you define and apply data markings to your project initially? And can you change them by diagram (as opposed to blocks and relationships)?

I am trying to summarize the information in few comments below... seems that not much interest in the tool in 6 years, and this is understandable. I am currently using the plugin. I do not see any updates in past 6 years. The presentation mentions agility and advantage against Excel, however in this examples the whole project is preloaded. When creating the project, for example the sequence of event, in the Excel you just click on the cell and edit it, while in nomagic one first creates the SE item, and then needs to go to Documentation fiels and enter the sequence of events manually and even the numbering of events in the sequence is to be created manually, so far no advantage compared to Excel. It is also requires several actions to select a severity and probability - you have drop down boxes for those and you have choice of numers 1-5. This reduces agility a lot. Next, when all hazards and risks and harms are entered, AND if they match the text in your Excel you can copy paste the data from Excel into nomagic table and it would accept the paste data... RAAML? Is not that the same just with different icons? In my view RAAMS is a step to confusion and deviates from the standard trend... To conclude the only benefit from the plugin I see is the FMEA with its ability to point to the parts of the system and connect them to faults analysis... so hope to see more from nomagic.

BTW, yes English is a hard language to learn but many, if not most, of us started learning it when we were born. Learning SysML is like trying to learn Russian or Chinese to do systems engineering. SHOW ME HOW TO USE CAMEO.

So 30 years ago we introduced to the concept of "Object Oriented Design" - you're Black Box. Now you are telling us to go include "Functions" - you're White Box. THAT'S WHAT REAL SYSTEMS ENGINEERS HAVE BEEN DOING FOR YEARS AND YEARS.

I've spent 15 minutes on this BS so far and have not seen a good description of the difference between MBSE and the "old method". On slide 6 you tried to pass off the idea that modeling is done on computers and the old method is done on paper. Bullsh-t. If that's the only difference you are wasting my time. Word, DOORS, Visio, Excel, Computer Based Design, Engineering and Manufacturing have been around for over 40 years. Come on, tell me the real difference. AND THE LANGUAGE USED IT NOT IT!

Is there a way to import and existing Excel-based FMEA analysis into Cameo?

Doesn't seem to have brought the data over in your example. You have fields that you did not map that probably needed customization to add to the requirement element type? Barely useful video

This video needs to be updated for UAF v1.2. Some of the diagrams were not available in Cameo EA v2022x. For instance, I could not create a Resource Structure diagram under the SearchUnit v1 Capability Configuration. the impact analysis map for the Search Boat also differed.

This is interesting from the standpoint of demonstrating what the tool can do, but you need a screen capture software that supports more than like 1 frame/sec... It's really difficult to follow your actions/what you're selecting.
